It pursues research programs in the areas of gene therapy, cancer drug resistance, pharmacology, pathology and molecular pathology, and psycho-oncology.
Research at the Sydney Cancer Centre brings together research scientists and clinicians from RPAH, Concord Hospital, the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Research Institute (MASCRI), the Sydney Head and Neck Cancer Institute (SHNCI), the Sydney Breast Cancer Institute, the Surgical Outcomes Research Centre (SOuRCe) and the research scientists working on cancer in a number of departments at the University of Sydney.
