Make a donation in memory of a loved one
Firstly, may we offer our sincere condolences if you are selecting this type of support. A gift in lieu of flowers at the funeral of a loved one or dear friend is a most rewarding way to honour their memory.
Please ask your Funeral Director to contact us to provide special envelopes for the funeral service, or contact our Administration Coordinator directly on 02 9515 6018. The nominated next of kin will receive a list of names of all In Memoriam donors.
An alternative way to celebrate the life of a loved one is to create an A Gift in Memory page. We have partnered with Everyday Hero to make this process as simple as possible for you at this time.
We are inspired that so many people choose to support us in this way. Thank you.

Non Cash Support
As we approach the end of the tax year you may want to consider other means of supporting the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at RPA, which do not involve cash payment. These include the following:
Shares <$5,000 in value – which have been owned for more than 12 months
Property > $5,000 – valued by the tax office at more than $5,000
Property < 12 months – gifts of property purchased by the donor in the last 12 months
Cultural Gifts – gifts made under the Cultural Gifts and Bequests Program
Transferring shares is an easy and convenient way for you to make a valuable contribution to the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at RPA without the inconvenience of having to sell shares , particularly where you may have a small parcel of shares where the sales fee would exceed the value of the shares.
In all cases you will receive a receipt in order to claim a tax deduction. If you have any shares or any of the other assets listed above that you may wish to consider donating to the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at RPA, please call Brent Cubis on 02 9515 6018.
Bequest and Planned Giving Program
Organising your will is one of the most important things you will ever do. Most significantly, a will protects your family and loved ones. It ensures that your estate is divided among the people you love in the way you intend.

How will Lifehouse use donations?
Every Donation, large or small will help people with cancer survive. Help the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at RPA achieve lasting change in the way we prevent and treat cancer in Australia by bringing together all the elements of cancer care, research, treatment and support within one centre of excellence.
In addition to building the new cancer centre, Lifehouse continues to support the activities of the existing Sydney Cancer Centre. Over the next three years whilst our new organisation and facilities are being built, the SCC of RPA will treat several thousand patients living with cancer. These people need and deserve the best possible care and support.
Donations made to Lifehouse will help to make this possible by providing funds for research and clinical programs. Donations are also used to help with the construction of the new facility.
